Hey,

I know that this isn't the EU1 forum, but I guess that some of you have played EU1 before (there aren't any in the EU1 forum :p ) soooo...

I've got EU1, but haven't played it for ages. When I played I only played Denmark (and perhaps Sweden). But can you play Savoy or the Byzantic Empire?

Another thing: What are the chances for inheriting a kingdom when you have married away you beatiful daughter? Are there any way of increasing that chance? I've never inherited anything in EU1...

In EU1 however, you have to do a bit of file editing to play other countries - find out what the three-letter code is for the country you want to play and go in and replace one of the countries in the scenario file with the one you want...

EU1 starts in 1492, so no Byzantine Empire.

First, I'd grab IGC were I you. That mod really upgraded EU1 from what I understand, and makes it easier to play other nations.

Barring that, go into....wherever your scenario info is kept. I don't have EU1, so I don't know where that is. At the beginning of the file will be a list of playable countries. Change one of those to the three letter code for the country you want to play.
