Okay think I will buy that one tomorrow then, but isn't the second one faster with a 1,8 insted of the first one with 1,7?

One day I too hope to take this game and play it on my computer. I pretty much have given up on that idea ever happening and honestly this was a waste of $40.

For everyone's info, I have just tested EU3 on the Intel X3100 GPU (GM965 laptop chipset) and version 1.3 and the NA expansion work fine with no outside utilities or mods. Demo still does not run though; it probably would with 3D Analyze. This was on a Dell Latitude D630 with the Dell-supplied video driver (build 4831) on Windows XP SP2. Looks like I'll be picking up a Thinkpad X61 sometime soon.

Problems only with demo?
I have fully updated drivers and hardware capable of running this, however v1.3 won't fully render the map...I only get blue nad the borders...no coasts or different countries...any thoughts?

Will a NVIDIA GeForce 7500 LE Turbocache video card give me a good performance, or merely sufficient?

Yes, register your game and look in the Tech Support forum for "Intel bluemap fix" (http://www.europa-universalis.com/forum/showthread.php?t=307129 ). It won't be as good as having a real graphics card but it should be playable I think.daeunai said:
