Grand Graphics Card Question Thread - pre-sales and demo only!

Is EUIII compatible with any Geforce 8000 series vga?Since i've bought a 8600gt i cant play more than 20-30minutes because the screen disappears or simply a system error, AND just in EUIII, so i dont think that the problem is in my vga.

8600gt should work.
Do you use Vista or XP?

Xp sp2.With my 6600gt it worked without problems under the same system.

Last drivers? You know that GeForce 8 use diffrent drivers to GeForce 6 now?

After I bought this vga I reinstalled the win.I use the latest nvidia driver.

I have been playing EU 2 for years, now I would like to buy EU 3, but for those graphic problems I read here, I fear I will not be able to play it.

Anyway, my pc is a bit old, it`s a toshiba 1900-305, pentium 4, 2.39 GHz, 768mb ram, graphic card is a mobility m6 with just 32mb ram. I guess I should not buy EU 3 since I will not able to play it. Am I right? Thanks in advance.

Help - new arrival at these forums. I've got a 128 graphics card and EU3/NA still won't run. I recognise that this thread is for pre-sales so apologies but I've signed up to the forum, registered the game and jumped through all the other required hoops and yet still can't access tech support.

Any pointers gratefully received.

ok i downloaded eu3 to my labtop and then this came up.......(the stuff in red )

ERROR

FAILED TO CREATE GRAPICS DEVICE EXITING.

is the anyway to make it work or will i just have to buy a new chip. is there a way to lower the grapics???

Okay these are my final options. Sorry for all the post, but did order a laptop 2 weeks ago, but yesterday they wrote that they couldn't deliver. so have found these two:

AMD Athlon 64 x2 TK-53 (1,7 GHz) Dual Core, 2 GB DDR2 RAM, 160 GB Harddisk, 896 MB GeForce 8400M Turbocache (128 dedicated).

or

AMD Mobile Sempron 3500+ (1,8 GHz) 2 GB DDR2 RAM, 250 GB Harddisk, 896 Geforce 7000 (splitted).

The price is the same.

Which one?

And sorry for all the posts.

I would have ordered the first, better graphic card, dual core, 64 bit.
