Grand full duchy to one guy - a good idea?

Beside creating a potential too powerful vassal, is there any issue with granting a full duchy with all it's counties to one unlanded guy? The idea is I've got a strong realm already (about 3 kingdoms) and too many vassals, and I've got a full kingdoms sometimes to hand out after a holy war. It's tiresome to find so many capable guys, but even more important, I'm interested in the max vassal contribution, and since a duke would be a lawful direct vassal to my kingdom, it seems to be the best way to give them out.

Am I right?

I dont think the thread belongs in the "Suggestions" forum, but to answer your question: In my opinion you are absolutely right. If you dont have to worry about a Duke getting strong enough to revolt its easier to give out the whole duchies. Especially in bigger kingdoms or empires, its rather important in my experience since a weak new lord gets just taken over by your other vassals if they are still allowed to fight without restriction
