Big changes there. Hope they don't cause too much more upheaval. Good to see your colonial lands almost joined.

Draco Rexus said:Damn shame about the Socialist Revolution. Maybe you'll be able to give 'em enough rope to simply hang themselves with and move back toward the more conservative side of the spectrum?
Well good to see that there is also conservative readers in this thread. Too bad that we didn't see absolutism survive into 20th century. I fail to see what good could liberal goverment do for Grand Duchy.JimboIX said:Despite the loss of autocracy, perhaps the de Bar's will survive into the new century with these reforms. Eduoard would be proud.
The Blue one? It's Nyamweze.Draco Rexus said:Oh, and who the heck is holding that plot of land in East Africa between Burgundy and the British?![]()
And a socialist reader too. I will personally take care that there won't be a socialistic Burgundy. Liberal ideas are enough radical for Burgundy.KuzuX said:Yay!Onwards to a Socialist Burgundy!!!(Though yo should change the name to Repeublic of Burgundy)

Yes it's Revolutions.stnylan said:Sorry, I can't remember - is this played under Revolutions? If so those officers look perfect fascist material.
Burgundian economy is strong enough. No problem there. Even the conduction of massive mobilization of 70+ divisions don't hurt that much. The pacifists make the war impossible:CSK said:You are so dead now. You should have changed far earlier. Right now you're stuck with a crappy economy and pacifists in a war. I just wonder how the French can pay all these troops, don't they destroy their own economy with it?
Only allies are Lombardy and Venezia. They are sending troops to assist in the war but it's something like 5 divisions all together. If Burgundy loses the war you can be sure that it's also the end of Venezia and Lombardy.Draco Rexus said:Damn! Things look pretty grim for the Grand Duchy. I cannot recall, do you not have any allies to be of some assistance?
Yep no problem there the whole French coastline is raided, bombarded and blockaded by Burgundian Navyrhynoclemmis said:Damn those French! Seems that you control the waves, though, with the superior fleet you built. But so many French divisions...
That's Grand Duke's number two concern, (number one being the war that isn't going that well.) The ongoing mobilization dropped the Burgundian military score(213) behind Prussian one(218). Hopely one thing is sure in the diplomatic front: If French and Prussians are going to divide Burgundy British will intervene. That's propably the reason why Prussians haven't acted yet. Althought moving the Burgundian troops away from Prussian border would propably lead to similar "peace keeping" action from Prussian side that Burgundians did May-July 1858 during the Great Anglo-French war.Wenis said:Right now I am worried that the prussians will join the war and you will be fighting on two fronts.
