Indeed, no actual discussion of the Gaelic matter has commenced, this thread has only been opened less then a day yet people are at our throats for working to slowly

. I'm personally very interested in the matter, the merging of the two cultures would make perfect sense other then a few naming anamolies. The two Gaelic cultures, Irish and Scottish shared a very strong bond during this time period, with Irish clergy usually going to Scotland to bolster any regions lacking in men on the cloth. The language was certainly mutually intelligable and is a good candidate for a possible merger. We have to remember though, merging cultures is not always nescessary, most merges are due to a need to squeeze out more tags, and there is an increasing lack of urgency in the need to do so anymore. I support the merger though, but it leaves us with a rather ungainly, free tag with a celtic sprite which can't be used anywhere else.
