Don't worry, I've always been "one of those people" myself. Even in the languages that I didn't grow up with. If I have to go through hell trying to learn a new language properly, then the native speakers had better use it properly themselves!

Slightly off topic, but I looked up Agresso's Internet site, and I wasn't very impressed by the Norwegian. Maybe you could practise here while we wait for Paradox to give us the go-ahead

I'd like to finish this thread off rather than let it fade into oblivion.

Betas & Paradox folks, can you verify yea or nay whether or not you would use any corrections in an official patch? I appreciate that it could be a downloadable, unsupported mod, but I, at least, am not sure that's a worthwhile use of time, because it seems as though we would have to re-do it for every official patch that overwrote any of the events (to say nothing of other mods that had their own versions of those events).

So I don't think it practical to really pursue this unless Paradox would like to use it. Enough people have volunteered to make it worthwhile and it would not be difficult to coordinate it. Would this actually see the light of day?

I stumbled on Engrish.com accidentally some time ago, but I had to google it for a while before I got it again. If you google Engulish, you'll get a lot of Japanese dialect Engrish

Ah don't worry. As the joke goes: what do you call someone who speaks many languages? Polylingual What do you call someone who speaks two langugages? Bilingual. What do you call someone who speaks one language? American.
