I notice when rolling over the troop support info in the game that grain is a determining factor, including traded grain.

I understand if you have grain in a controlled province. But how do you get traded grain?

What I'm asking about is "traded grain" is listed as another way to get troop support, in addition to owning a grain province.

Does this mean that going to a Center of Trade where grain is involved, that you can actually get support bonuses there?

It all happens automatically mate, I wouldnt worry about it too much....to increase it, just gain more grain provs.

I believe that if you have many merchants in CoTs where there are a lot of grain provinces then you get additional troop support. So it's very useful to trade in Mecklemburg/Sjaeland or Danzig for example.

Exactly.

Hoover your mouse over the number that shows the wealth of the CoT. When you do that you should see how much grain that is traded in that CoT. Danzig and Moscow is the best places to trade if you want to increase your troop support.
