If the engineer/strategist you import from china dies shortly after arriving you get your grace back, does not work for mail brides.

This way you can shuffle between strategists until you get the one you want

that got me thinking, if a chinese strategist has 2 leadership traits, which one does he teach to your commanders?

I thought they all taught any of the leadership traits randomly regardless of which traits they personally had.

that got me thinking, if a chinese strategist has 2 leadership traits, which one does he teach to your commanders?

Even if you get your grace back, won't you have to wait an year? Because, by the time, you may get an Lv4~5 artifacts of a different religion that gives a lifetime use of grace. And instead of rushing with Enoch and commander, take time and hunt for the highest score one of religion/culture the emperor wants, and favor invite them to ship off to China.

I have never seen one with 2 Chinese leadership traits, but I have often seen, to my dismay, them teaching a Chinese leadership trait they do not have.

My strategy with Chinese strategist, by the way, is filling all my commander slots with pure organizers and hoping 2~3 of them to pick up Tiger so that I can get some super shuttles.

After that, I use the strategist as one of my commander and get 3 Leopards. At this stage, I only need Organizer and/or Tiger. And a few leopards and holy warriors only as temporary replacements.

You still can order another strategist only after the 1 year cooldown has passed. The few times i had a chinese strategist he always taught my commander the trait he had himself

While they can and DO teach traits they don't personally have, the ratio doesn't seem to be completely random.

You see, I often fill all my commander slots with organizers, after keep firing strategists until I get a Tiger. And most of my organizers, when they get one, get Tiger. Them getting a different trait happens but not as commonly.
