yeah i downloaded the demo to try it with 1.0 ...still gets hot as hell =( the question is why? why do paradox games utilize the gpu that much? i mean they are not realy good looking or anything. i would have thought they were heavy on the cpu
the fans are allright because i can hear them roar when i let ck2 run for 5 minutes
ive monitored my gpu temp all day yesterday and this is what i noticed:
idle: 40 °C 30% fan speed
crysis 3 on high to ultra : ~75 °C and around 70% fan speed after 30 minutes of playing
battlefield 3 on high to ultra: ~ 75 °C 60-70% fan speed after 30 minutes of play time
arma 3 on high : 65-70 °C and 60% fan speed after the same time
wargame: EE : 65 °C 50% fan speed " "
ck2 : 75 °C menu screen alone and 82°C after 5 minutes of playing... 90% fan speed (!!!)
ive let a friend of mine with a gtx 560 ti test it with the demo..his idle is 50 °C and he got to 60 while playing
the fans are as i said allright..everything is clean. ive tried upgrading my drivers ive tried downgrading my drivers...no change. i cant remeber if the temperature was that high when i played the game the last time in january. but after 5 minutes of playing the fan gets so loud i cant even hear the music properly over my headphones so i think i would have noticed if that occured back then =/
i just want to now what is going on here
it would be realy helpfull if you guys could give me any further tipps or post your gpu temps aswell...maybe someone with a gtx 570 aswell?
should i write to paradoxes technical support? i was not planning on buying a new gpu soon and i intended to play a game ive spent much money on =/
