Hello all,

in the game manual, it states that promoting a governor is decreasing the inflation by 1%. Is there a continuous effect, or is it a one-shot deal (should I wait to get 1% inflation to promote a governor, or promote them quickly even when I have no inflation at all?)...

Thanks!

Promoting a governor will drop your inflation by 1% in a one-shot effect. Appointing governors at 0 inflation produces no effect.
Also, the decrease is applied when the promotion is finished, not when you pay for it. So if inflation is at 0 and you promote a gov, you've got one month to take out a loan for no effect on inflation.
