Hey peeps

So Cradle of Civilization is only 3 days away(get hyped :D) and i've been watching a few lets players play mamlukes which i think looks like alot of fun to play now with its unique government, i noticed that its an administrative machine with its +3 monarch administrative idea and was wondering is there a diplo one like that out there?(government) i know there is prussian which is the military equilivent so if there isnt i suspect maybe austria when it gets looked at in the future(i assume it would due to being a very interesting area :D) might get its own unique government within the hre(maybe even bohemia too) that gives +3 diplo to monarch ideas?

Im kinda bummed cyprus didnt get any changes in this dlc, maybe in the future they will same for trebizond and theodoro and the other greek releasable nations.

Nope, Mamluks are only the second nation to get such a perk as a base. The Emperor of China can get +1 admin but only through a reform.

I like this idea. Would be fitting enough. I wouldn’t mind Western and Central Europe getting a look, but I feel that at this moment that India and SE Asia may be in more need of unique flavoring.

That's not entirely true, although is not might be mentioned in government description, Prussian monarchy ensures that your ruler will always have at least 3 in military skill (+3 to military monarch skill).

From the dev diary, it sounds like a flat +2 to ADM, which is very strong indeed.

Prussia gets a guaranteed 3 or better in MIL for its monarchs, but that just rules out the bad monarchs; it's like the game is saving you the hassle of pressing the 'disinherit' button on an heir who is clearly unworthy. It doesn't give you super monarchs, like it sounds like Mamluk Government will.

I'm also intrigued by the Mamluk special culture-based powers and how strong they could be in practice. In theory, a Mamluk Government state with Manchu primary culture could get huge rewards from spreading the Master Race across the map.

The wording on the Prussia thing is missleading.
It has +3 just like the Mamluks will have +2.

IMO - Pdx get on the wrong way. Too many special gov. and new are too similar relative to each other (3 loading bars to "spells"). And new gov. make the states very strong... to strong.. Best example - Third Rome DLC. He was called as "Pay to win for Russia DLC". Russia get great bonuses, positive flavours etc. but practically no load, no new problems etc. In "Mandate of Heaven" chinese emperor have at least the possibility of losing a mandate and get great problems and this make "quasibalance" (still chinese emperor are too powerful and too easy way to all reforms etc.). In TR nothing and in CoC also - nothing.

2 - 1/16 (6.25%)
3 - 1/8 (12.5%)
4 - 3/16 (18.75%)
5 - 1/4 (25%)

I can't understand why Mamluk has +2 admin. It should be removed or nerfed to +1. Like Mysticism with morale and Legalism with tech cost reduction, CoC has some things I can't understand.

Sorry, my post was worded poorly. Prussia was the first and Mamluks are the second. I mentioned the Emperor of China because it is not a bonus that is always applied with no input from the player, but is still an increase of ruler stats.
