Mr. President, a couple of weeks (ooc: days) you said that my idea of action in the WET was a good one and that you would take my advice. The MHA is unwilling to do anything against the thugs in the WET. Is the government going to act or what! There are currently armed criminals walking through the streets of Farpoint and the US naval base is cut off from it's needs!
Admiral, the time for action has most definitely come. The actions of the "rebels" have crossed a certain line. Negotiations are being attempted, though they are not going well. They have no clear leadership, so we are unsure who to talk to. The army should be ready to move, I will not allow a rouge state to exist on this island.
With your premision Mr. President I'll put the marines on status 'orange', they are to be present in their quarters ready to move. All the marines are to be called up. SHall I send a couple of ships to the US base in Farpoint sothat we can evacuate the US military personell in case of emergency.
Don't worry Admiral, I think that the protestors went too far now and I'm in support of any violence neccesary to restore the sovereignty of the government.
I agree to serious action, although all military endeavours should be matched by intensive diplomatic efforts.

Mr. President, Mr. Speaker, is it possible to get a parliamentary mandate to send in the army if needed? I think that alone could be a serious signal to the rioteers.
Mr. Smith has asked to be our representative to the Topa rebels. Would anyone have a problem with that?
I would like to point out that Dr. De Vlaminck might be able to make some contributions as well during negotiations, considering his knowledge of Topa history, he might be able to strike the right chords with the protesters.
I suppose his extensive knowledge could prove useful...

What I'm getting at, Mr. President, is that Mr. Smith could benefit from Dr. De Vlamincks experience. I'm certainly not saying that Mr. Smith shouldnt be our representative.

I started my reports on Farpoint in the Gazette to gather more attention to the situation as well as make Eutopians face the economic and political instability of the Western Territory.
These Native Eutopians feel ignored and uninportant which is the major reason the rebels are in existance. I have many personal friends in Farpoint and in the Western Territory of Native Eutopian background. I also have enough knowledge of the history of the Native Eutopians to be a representive, so I ask you fine men of Eutopia to appoint me as representive.
I promise to bring the situation at least under control and stop this rebellion that threatens the fragile stability of Eutopia.

His knowledge of Eutopian peoples and culture are unsurpassed by anyone else that I know.

As you say, we do have fears of him; founded or not. I am willing to see both Mr. Smith and Dr. de Vlaminck go, but to appease our fears, whether they be real or not, I think it best to call Dr. de Vlaminck back if anything happens once he gets there, anything...suspicious.
