Gothic invasion

Hi there,

I´m just trying the achievemnet "Gothic invasion" with Theodoro.
It´s arround 1760 and only a couple of provinces are left which i have to take.

As i dont want to fuck up this achievment i have two questions.

Do vassals count for the achievment? (Bavaria and Brandenburg are vassalized)

If not i have a question concerning AE because my vassals have 800+ AE which makes it impossible to integrate.

So far i can recall the -30 penalty for vassalization vanishes if you dont vassalize any vassal for 20 years.
But the problem here is AE.

So my question is....

Does AE also reset after 20 years when i don´t add any further AE?
I´m still playing Version 1.10 btw.

Vassals do not count, AE will not reset, it will decrease at the rate shown in the tooltip. You either have to declare on your vassals or break vassalization, wait for the truce and then declare.

Ah ok tks for info.

But i wont wait for the truce because they will join the coalition i will rather take the stab-hit.
