Just got in from work and there on the kitchen table is a packet from Amazon uk, so I ripped it open and there it is CK II all shiny and new, time to install catch you lot later

ahahah Yeah you can install it but you can't play it. lol roflmao I got the game today on Gamersgate but I can't activate it or even download it yet but it's there in my games library.

So how is this going to work? Obviously the boxed copies are a slightly older version of what we've been promised on release day- Is there going to be a 1.1 patch? I assume Steam will autoupdate the release patch, but how will Gamersgate work?
That's the 64 million dollar question nobody knows for sure. Who's going to get it first and what time will it be my time (gamers time) all over the world?
Gamersgate will have the 1.01 release, Steam will have the 1.01 release and the 1.01 patch for boxed versions.

Went to Game, Gamestation and HVM, the big three retailers in the UK and not one employee had even heard of the game! They weren't ordering it in, and when I attempted to prompt their memory for PI, I tried listing off games; eventually saying Mount and Blade (which PI only published, if I'm correct? Or was that PE?) and they replied "Oh M&B? Oh I know that. That must be why we're not getting it *trollface*. Yeah, too nichey for us."

Hey you could even make us up a GUIDE of all those traits and how they effect the character.....I remember someone did that for CK1 and it was great help being able to quickly look to see what what did and helping to keep my "intrique" up which determined how many provinces I could control.
