Got new DLC now game is slow and choppy

Hello!

So i bought myself some new DLC and now my FPS is down to 5-15 and thats not good at all. It can sometimes go up to 60 but for the most time its really slow and unplayable. How can this game be this choppy with more DLC? Before everything was running fine and now its unplayable. I have the latest drivers so it should be running good with it. And im well over the recommended system specs.

No doubt you've seen the numerous other threads on this topic, in here, Bug reports, and the main forum? Have you tried all that stuff?

Have you opted into the 1.8-hotfix beta in the Steam EU4 beta tab? If that doesn't help, we're just awaiting the developers to work on this, I'm afraid.
