Google search

With the search function gone from the forum, we now have to use google. Although I've made it work well enough when looking by posters' names, I haven't had much luck with searching for topics. From some posts I've seen, I think I'm far from the only one with this trouble. & I dislike having to ask questions which have been answered repeatedly.

Could someone make a sticky with tips on how to succeed?

They used to have a sticky in the announcement forum but I'm unable to find it.

But if you want to find something use this:

site:http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/

if your looking for something specific use the "."

If you want to find this thread you type in:
site:http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/ "Google Search"

However it won't show up now since Google doesn't update itself very often.

How should I try to find, say, installation troubleshooting for one of the mods?
How would I find comments about the naval system in the EU3 Wishlist thread?

Well I don't really know, It can help you find specific threads, but it can't really find subjects discussed in a thread.
For now I think it's better to ask someone that knows rather than searching on google.

I think you have to read the enitre EU3 Wishlist thread if you want to find post about the naval system. Or alternative, do this search on google:

site:http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/ "EU3 Wishlist" naval
