Google "+1"

In each thread there is a Facebook "Like" feature. However, the Google +1 feature is not currently supported. Whilst I am not a member of any social networking sites, I realise many who frequent this forum are, and there may be many who use Google+. Given this, I am interested as to whether there are any plans to add a "+1" feature to the site in the future?

That will most likely happen when vbulletin makes that happen. We do not actually customize the forum that much our selves.
I have seen requests for it though, so it is bound to happen at some point, and when it does, we will consider activating it.

A few more have accounts, but have written nothing or at least shared nothing. They will get to choose when I expose them to the world.

Heh, I've been pushing to get rid of +1 and Facebook "Like" buttons on my company website. Nothing but hassle and increased pageload time, even if they do fit into some guy's "Social Media" objectives.

I actually have two gmail accounts. One with my real name, and one I use for other things, like signing up for newsletters and web site accounts. They support switching so you can be logged in to both at the same time. It works very well.

By the way, I joined G+ a few days ago and you know how it looks through your gmail contacts and then asks if you'd like to add them on G+? Well, I had gamersgate support email on the list, and that email address was for some reason put under Fredrik Wester's name in the G+ list.

That is interesting! I have no idea why it would do that. Maybe a leftover from when we were the same company.
