What are some of the decent full conversion mods for CK2 out there I could try?

I tried that small Wales mod, which was great (forget the name, Britannia something?)

Game of Thrones mod, obviously. Turned out fairly lame: I played as the Lannisters, got an event to go independent 3 years or so into the game, and I did. Robert Baratheon won the war a year later, then peacefully vassalized everyone. WTH? So 4 years in, there was the huge kingdom of Westeros vs my proud little Lannister kingdom. I lost...

Tried the mod where the entire world is composed of 2-3 province independent minors with different religions. Seemed cool until I realized the author decided to add new buildings. Hundreds of them. WAY too much micromanagement there, so I gave it up.

Anything else out there? New maps would be ideal, failing that at least new nations. 300 NEW buildings - BIG NO.

With what happened in the GoT mod to you...

During "mega wars", as the mod makers call em', all the major kingdoms are temporarily shown as independent regardless of their true alignment in the war. This was, all the various stacks from the different seven kingdoms can act independent of each other, rather than the Iron Throne taking years to just merge troops from all across Westeros into a giant stack only he can control. When the mega war ends, all those who should be vassalized return to their proper place as vassals of the Iron Throne. So when the war ended, everyone except you was still loyal to Robert, thus he promptly kicked you in the teeth with the full force of six of the kingdoms when he got the chance. It's honestly a much funner mod that most to start from the bottom in, personally, and you might want to try a minor house next time rather than the Lannisters.

And yeah, Lux Invicta is pretty nifty. Still a map of Europe, but its been chopped up pretty nicely in a manner to create a fresh experience.

Lux Invicta is the one I meant when I said they have too many new buildings in provinces. That introduced way too much micromanagement to make it worth playing.

I don't think there's anything else at the moment. Mods are underway though, so keep an eye out. The Elder Scrolls mod seems to be quite far into it's development. There are a couple of Rome mods coming along (Mare Nostra has a version out). I'm working on a Star Wars mod with a team (and we're making good progress, I might add, despite the seemingly preposterous setting.).

Right now there's very little, but keep checking back and you should see more projects being released.

Have you tried the big modpacks like Prince & Thane or CKII+? They are pretty nice. Alternatively, you could try one of the ones which is focused in the 'mericas. There are at least two.

Another idea is to just get several smaller mods and run them together, which can be fun if you don't mind having to troubleshoot. If you do this, I consider Somewhat More Historical map mod a must.

I'm making a dark ages total conversion using the Matter of Britain map. It is in development however so not released yet

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. The elder scrolls mod looks amazing, can't wait for it to be ready. Which mods are focused on the Americas? What I'm looking for is a change of scenery, not mechanics, so that would hit the spot.
