I love how Paradox chooses the games it wants to publish based on what games actually are fun and interesting to play. From SupremeRuler 2020, Mount & Blade, Majesty 2 and now East India Company, these are all games that I was interested in during the development stage, and Paradox acquired the publishing rights after that. I’m glad that Paradox Interactive and I at least have the same taste in games.
I hope East India Company will kick some serious E:TW butt, because E:TW was severely lacking dynamic economic, trading and colonial management, strategic AI, lack of adventure or atmosphere and general oversimplification of strategic game (while I admit that the tactical game play was great).
