Gold Income Question

Greetings,

Am playing Sweden (AoM) 1.08 vanilla.

The year is 1707.

Established Tucuman as a colony in 1695. It became a City with a tax collector in 1704.

Took Potosi from the Spanish in 1700, appointed tax collector three months later and a judge in 1704.

Took Cuzco from Spanish in 1705. Appointed a tax collector immediately.

But nary a ducat from gold have I seen!

How come?

Does the gold not come till I get governors in those provinces?

You should be getting gold incomes as soon as you take the province. Cheack your incomes page in the ledger to make sure, otherwise this is a bug

I was just watching for it to show up as an inflation factor.

Gold only gives you inflation when it represents a certain percentage of your total income. 25% and over, IIRC.
