Fought a couple more wars. Moscow went to war with Novgorod, and the latter called on me while the former got my (unvassalizable) ally Finland. So I figured this was a good chance to force Finland to rejoin the Scand Imperium. (you know, I really should've titled this AAR The Emperor of the North
) I sent my cav army in Danzig to take over the NW fragment of Poland and my Swedish Occupation Force to beat up Finland. I eventually got cash from Poland, and Nyland plus the province to the north and vassalization and cash from Finland. Then it was on to the relief of Novgorod, who ended up making a separate peace with Moscow giving up a couple more provinces. This made my possision tenuous, so after a glorious attempt to make the most of it, I ended up paying 25 ducats for peace. Swedish patriots took over the province SW of Stockholm near the end of that war, but with the return of the SOF things returned to normal.
In all this time I left my fleet in Orkeny, knowing France and England would have to go to war sometime and I wanted to be prepared. Prussian nationalists rose up in Danzig (2/8) and were too much for my 3 regiments of cav. I kept retreating to preserve my army and building more troops nearby, but they took the city. Before I could take it back, the war I had been waiting for broke out. I waited to answer the call until my fleet and cav were on their way to Iceland. The English never bothered to challenge my fleet blocking the straits from Scotland, so my own province was never at risk. Eventually I took both sides of Iceland, and then moved on to Ireland. I managed to get one side (I forget now which) in a peace deal.
