Year 1607.

Annexed nations: Great Britain, Poland, Hungary and the HRE just formed under Austria rule.

Royal marriage: Spain, Portugal, Ucrania, Russia, a large Sweeden.

Existing adittional nations in Europe: Venice 6 provinces, Burgundy and France 5 provinces.

Interesting vassals: aztecs. Even though I can not colonize, or count with explorers or conquistadores yet, the land was discovered by Spain or Portugal, if you are at war you can enter in Terra Incognita.

Last fifty years were a pain in the ass regarding diplo points (Just before the seventh reform I had like 20-25 diplo relationships), and in fact my diplo tech is level 3¡¡¡. I also had a lot of problems with economics, as I could not give back any loans, and I lost a lot of admin points dealing with inflation. But it is not that bad, as I am only a few years behind. First level in military tech, and without none who can face a single war with me.

I tell you my idea, in order to see if you believe it is right or you can advice me something different:

1. Regarding the existing big nations, wait until they have my Hapsburg dinasty and then attacking them to get PU. Only Portugal has it right now.
2. Develop economics, to be able to count with my troops in a 100% maintenance (Right now my limit is 400 divisions, and I count with 5k men per month).
3. Reduce the number of vassals, in order to be able to have diplo points. I have been doing it, but I am still in a 13/8 relations. A big error I commited was to get Religious ideas to be able to declare religious wars, and have finally a +100% reletions bonus, and adittionally as I did not have diplo point I could not develop diplo ideas, I only developd the first idea, but I need something like 2000 more admin points to get the next idea, and be able to get the colonization idea.
4. In the meanwhile, use these diplo points, frist to annex the non Austrians provinces in Europe, and if happily I am able to attack any nation abroad in Africa or Asia, do it, but I can not explore anything at all.

The problem with this last point is that under my understood, as I can not explore I can only attack Europe, or northern muslims, during 30 or 40 year,s loosing a lot of time as there would be a coalition if I only attack "what I see".

Any idea?

Well as I didn't have any I continued, reducing France and Bourgogne to an diplo vassal size, spending my first diplo points in decades... Going again to a 14/8 relations but currently annexing four vassals...

1. Screenshots are best, diplomat and political

2. Why did you form the HRE?

1. I DO NOT KNOW TO UPLOAD SCREENSHOTS. Although I found the way

2. I do not know how to handle 30 vassals at the same time. eu4_map_HLR_1615_05_14_2.png

This `picture is just political at 1615, as I have never allies just in the moment in which I will attack Ottomans.

Changes:

Attack Burgundy and France to make them diplo anex vassal size (loosing 2 or 3 provinces), beginning to generate diplo points, vassalizing avignon an OPM to offer them Provence province. New coalition formed, but no relevant (all of the rest of Europe: Portugal, Spain and few others). In the exact prior moment to attack OTTOMANS, to give some provinces to my vassal Serbia
