Just wondering what people think of this strategy.

It would seem that going down the far right route as Democratic France would be the fastest way to overcome disjointed government as its 2 focuses less than the 'usual' way

I'm not really seeing any down sides to this apart from not making the little entente but it frees up 2 focuses and at the end gives you 120pp.

any thoughts?

Going down the leftist path gives you strengthen goverment_support 1 focus quicker:

FRA_form_the_popular_front
FRA_reform_the_labour_laws
FRA_review_foreign_policy
FRA_buy_time
FRA_strengthen_government_support

vs

FRA_revive_the_national_bloc
FRA_laissez_faire
FRA_protect_the_rights_of_man
FRA_review_foreign_policy
FRA_buy_time
#1937
FRA_strengthen_government_support

In every case I would slot in volunteers to Spain focus in, to get war support for Partial Mobilsation and Army XP.

The leftist popular front path gives you bad industry modifiers (matignon agreement which you can only remove in 1938) and you keep your starting industry debuff modifiers longer. Instead you get factories spawned in your territory, which more then overcompensate the 10% modifiers. But of course those factories spawn on the mainland, which are no use if you are planning playing from exile.

The Right National Bloc path gives you industry research bonus and removes the industry mali rather early, you have to take a focus more till you get to strengthen goverment support though. On the other hand you get a +10% PP Head of State which probably compensates this.

Both paths are fine, the national bloc is more longterm, and I think more fitting if you wanna play from exile. (build factories in the colonies, and get the industry modifiers so those factories work better)

The path I was referring to is the monarchist path you can go down it to the point of picking a monarch stop at that point.

so you would be going:

National Bloc
Utilise the Leagues
The Council of Rambouillet
Revise the Constitution

Then while the last focuses spirit is running (365 Days building Stablility) you can tend to industry and Military focuses. Its the Fastest removal of Disjointed government while still staying democratic that i can see, only downside is no access to democratic focuses but tbh you dont get that much from it.

Once you have gone that deep, there is only one path to glory. Viva Le Emperör Napöleon IV!!
