Tommy4ever-For me its the only question who started it, no matter which side was provoking it. Since if the side starting it, will do it out of the reason of feeling increasingly threatened by the other side, which would mean that ROC would eventually lose against the commies, because they would grow to strong, even without starting the war.

my point about AH is that the blame for ANY war doesn`t rest on one person shoulders. for WW1 i can give a couple other reasons, for the chinees civil war i cant, i just dont know enough about that.

btw, that video of yours (i got bored after 1:30) states that the civil war was already in progress before ROC decided to capture the communist. so how can an action when the civil war is already raging on be the cause of the civil war

the Commies and KMT were allies fighting against various warlords. Then the Commies started actng up and Chiang got wary of them. Eventually the KMT had like 100 Commies killed and then the Commies began the actual war. So either you blame the murders/executions or you blame the military attack.

Tommy pretty much explained to you, that the civil war on the start was directed against the warlords and later ROC triggered the war between them and the communists.

Well actually you say your stuff all over again and then i repeat my point. I never claimed that you tube was a reliable source, but you can pretty much tell which videos on you tube are reliable. Not to mention that you failed to supply even one video which seems reliable but in reality isn't.

And yes a war needs two sides to make it a war, but the war is always started by someone and you can always blame that country for starting it, no matter if the other side was provoking it.

The whole civil war is a bloody mess though in point the nationalists refused to let the communists have the place in governance as the other parties did.

In exchange the communists broke out and declared a civil war.

Whom started the civil war depends a lot on whom you asking. Though the conflict between commies and RoC I think is mainly caused by the RoC.

Generally the civil war itself had probably more to do with a too decentralised rule which collapsed when the centralising figure disapeared.
