By the way if tucan hasn't shown up tomorrow morning---i.e. in 8 hours---I propose that MC has a go unless he trades and in that case the trader has a go. Because the last lite ended a little over 24 hours ago.

I could make it work if I had to. Still haven't really worked out a theme, but I tend to be rather light on RP anyway. I'll give Nikk his shot first, and if he can't do it then I'll yield my place to LK or Gorganslayer, or if absolutely necessary I can put one up by tomorrow.

If you want me to rush it, that's fine too. EURO suggested I do a Jeopardy! theme a while back, so I might just roll with that. Still need a bit of time to put it together, though. Plus multiple other people said they wanted to trade with me, so I don't know what's happening with that.
I'm just saying there's no point in continuing to wait for 2knikk. Take as long to get it set up as you need, if you even want to do it of course.
Question: If I do a Jeopardy! theme, I'm thinking of having a "Daily Double" at the start of each day, where I ask all surviving players a trivia question. The first player to correctly answer the question (in thread or via PM) would have a double vote for that day, which they could use at their discretion. Is that a bad idea?
Also, I think I'll do the Ironhead variations rather than the standard Lite. That sound OK to everybody?

I feel like it would be unfairly balanced in favor of people who do quizbowl or similar activities. Speaking as one of those people, I think it's a great idea.
Since we are 10 hours past the deadline I set yesterday just post the game when finished. Yes people have talked about trading, but nothing has been decided and we need a new game going soon.
Sounds really interesting, so do it.
the only problem I have with Jeopardy style questions is that whoever's online could just look it up; we are in the internet, after all. but besides that, sounds great.
Granted, but someone who already knows the answer should have the advantage over someone who has to look it up. Besides, looking up the answer would fit rather nicely with the theme, since that's sort of what Watson already does.
Also, game should be posted within another hour or two. Sorry for the wait.
