I am wary of Duckie. Ducks are treacherous little buggers. Probably a Palatinate spy.

Time to sing the national anthem:

Perhaps...

Sadly, Ulm's antics with a duck remind me of nothing so much as Sesame Street's Ernie and his infatuation with his rubber duckie... Considering Ernie is a happy-go-lucky dimwit, I hope Ulm is made of sterner stuff. His enemies are a bit more formidable than Bert.

Anyway, I fear that letting the Palatinate extend itself as much as it does is going to come back to haunt Ulm. Palatinate, Palpatine... I support Stuckenschmidt's idea that the duck is a Palatine infiltrator. In fact, what with the obvious reference to Emperor Palpatine, as well as the Star Wars scene, I think it's clear that Ulm is being tutored to become Palpatine Palatinate's Darth Vader. It's all crystal clear to me, and it has nothing to do with the fact that I'm sleep-deprived.

yeah i waited for ulm to return :D and then is missed the start.. well i'm on now :)
and btw.. if the duck is austrian.. that cant be good .. we all know what the last austrian who ruled germany did :D

Yes, the duck seems a suspicious character. Beware the betrayal of the ducks!

One of the funniest AARs in a long time! Nice that you are going slow as well! :)

I wonder, do the Ulmer troops marching into Ansbach duck step rather than goose step?

They goose-step, but they shout "Quack!" every time the hobnails hit the road.

Anyway...

Solid progress with Ulm, interesting proposals for how to deal with the Austrians... And the continued presence of that infernal duck. Nothing good will come from that duck (unless it'd be a nice duck confit - hmm). The 'Mon Dieu/Mein Gott' bit was good. :)
