Decision didn't give me the ERE title. It just destroyed Despotate of Epirus and gave me the Feudal government thing leaving me with just the Kingdom of Greece.
So the roman gov broke in the new version?Forgot this earlier but... Yeah, the Roman Government type's demesne bonus isn't working.
Edit: Note, I tried three different games with the new version. And the same problems cropped up. I went to the previous version and now everything is fine. Everything is working as it should.. aside from the ERE stuff, but that's fine.
Ok I found the problems, I just uploaded fixes for both issuesForgot this earlier but... Yeah, the Roman Government type's demesne bonus isn't working.

So the obvious thing redone is the Empire of Nicae replacing the Byzantine rump state, in addition Trebizond is now and Empire and Epirus is king tier (both like the PA version). Bulgaria is an empire in all starts it is independent now as well.
The three Byzantine splinter states all have access to the Roman Government along with CB's to restore the Empire's proper borders.
Epirus can form the Empire of Thessalonika if it holds the right territory (Also it does exist in the history files in the correct time)

Very interesting character here, the former (and future) Sultan of Rum who converted to Orthodoxy while in the Greek courts and became Sunni again when he retook his throne (although he supposedly offered Hungary an alliance with an additional offer of betrothal to the King's daughter in exchange for becoming a Catholic, I added an event for the player for this if your playing in 1205 as him as Sultan of Rum for fun)
Two interesting states here would be landing him and pressing his claim or just pressing the claim and switch over to him

Restoring the Byzantine Empire is now possible by being Orthodox/ Chalcendonian and holding the Duchy of Thrace, Adrianopolis and having a decent realm size (Will be reducing it to 35 not 50)
This is available to the following if they are Orthodox or Chalcendonian
-Nicae
-Trebizond
-Epirus
-Thessalonika
-Armenia
-Serbia
-Bulgaria
-Georgia
-Rum (added this for fun if you went ahead and restarted as Orthodox Rum)

And last the Caucuses got adjusted a good bit. After about 1095 Azerbaijain became vassals to Georgia and the Alans and Derbent were also tributaries. Trebizond seems to have been in an alliance with Georgia, but I havent figured out adding alliances in history files yet, but when i do that will be added as well.
Fun fact, based on what I read it seems the Georgian army managed to get at least past Tabriz in Persia at its greatest extent
To the south of Georgia, the historical ruler of the region was put in and the one vassal there was moved southward as it seems he was likelier their vassal at this point
The others stay independent.I figured since they stayed independent in otl, that'd be best However they do keep their CB's and such so I assume they could still attempt to restore the empireThis is so awesome, this mod is slowly becoming what I had always hoped PA would be (before new start dates were even talked about)
I don't know if you already said it somewhere but if you did I missed it: What happens to the other splinter states once the ERE is re-established? Do they get a decision to join it or something?
This is why I didn't go for restoring the Empire until after I mopped up the Successor States. It's good RPing when a ruler is ambitious. The others stay independent.I figured since they stayed independent in otl, that'd be best However they do keep their CB's and such so I assume they could still attempt to restore the empire
Thanks, though i think they probably do that by editing every kingdom title in landed titles which wouldnt be pleasent to merge, but yea thats definitely needed. When i got Roman Provinces and Persian Provinces (as in reforming the structure and probably splitting two new de jure kingdoms out) I'll either merge it or make a similar solution better fitting my religion setup. This is another mini-mod that you could add (it should probably be vanilla) https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/mini-mod-sensible-crusades.951483/
https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...mechanics-by-modding-the-defines-file.745013/What were levies pre 2.0? I dont remember the change
Sure, if you need help enabling it for those empires let me knowAnyway, is it possible to adapt the Roman government for AGoT? The stuff would come in handy, especially for Emperor tier titles.
I mean, when the next version of AGoT comes out. I'm thinking of giving Emperor-tier dudes that. Or at least the option for it. Since it'd be fun.
I figured I should ask you guys for permission.
Hmm... Excellent!Sure, if you need help enabling it for those empires let me know
No problem,. I think christopher0936 is making a dev diary tonightHmm... Excellent!
Thank you for the permission, boss! Sorry for not testing today... I had.. a long LONG day. Including having to attend my brother's court hearing.
but it's the general idea
