Hello, this is my submission for the pre-qualifiers.

This city is based slightly on the city of Skopun on the Faroe Islands. Some liberties were taken but that is the main inspiration. I have also taken inspiration from several other Faroese cities like Sandur further south of this location.

Hello,

My name is Joseph A. Lambert and this my creation of Carthage. The metropolitan region boasts a population of 500,000, and was created using a realistic population mod and a total of less than 500 custom assets on the Steam workshop. This city, which requires the Airports, Far East, Match Day, and Vehicles DLC packs, was created as a world-class city designed to simulate realism.

The city itself is divided into 6 wards (West End, University Park, East Side, Albertson, Riverdale, and Center City), and adjoins several towns, including Lenox, Larchmont, Thornlie, Prescott, Ridgecrest, Wendover, Springfield, Franconia, Foster, Fremont, and Newton. The city was historically founded as an industrial center that also served as a part of the region's historic forest industry. The city then expanded to add jobs in the petroleum and silver mining industries, which later collapsed due to dwindling resources. The city now serves as a hub of the financial industry, which employs more people than any other industry.

The city boasts an amazing bus network and a commuter rail service that links the city with the surrounding towns. However, the main backbone of the public transit network is the Carthage Municipal Subway, which has six lines and 98 stations over 86 km of track. The first line to open was the Red Line, followed by the Blue, Green, and Orange lines in that order. These four lines use high capacity subway trains that carry 400 passengers. The Silver Line is a line that encircles the entire city, while the Gold Line serves the city's eastern suburbs and the maritime freight terminal. Both the Silver Line and Gold Line utilize driverless metro trains with a capacity of 200 people each, and are fully underground unlike the first four lines.

Screenshot 582.png

This is the main view of the city's downtown area. The centerpiece structure is the Artemis Pearl Tower, with the Teleport Terminal and Union Station also shown. In the background is the Winter Financial Center, which is based off First Canadian Place in Toronto. The building not far behind it is the Toaditopia headquarters, which is located in the University Park ward.

Screenshot 586.png

Carthage Memorial Stadium is home to Carthage FC, a soccer club that competes in the top flight division. They started out as a struggling expansion team during the city's 13th year of operations, but would go on to win their first championship title in the city's 48th year. They have 2 championship titles to date.
Screenshot 609.png

Here is a view of the overall area of the city and its surroundings. The city is connected by Interstate 47, with Interstate 247 and Interstate 647 serving the south and north peripheries. The western periphery is served by Interstate 33 and the eastern portion is served by Interstate 847. A branch off of Interstate 747 serves the city's airport.

The Cornelia Jacobs International Airport is the main airport for the city of Carthage. The airport has a main terminal with 24 gates on 2 concourses and 12 commuter gates in the areas formerly occupied by two small concourses. The airport also boasts a satellite terminal with 16 gates that is designed for use with larger aircraft, as well as a 12-gate freight terminal. The airport originally opened with a single commuter terminal, which was demolished to make room for the X-shaped main terminal building (which itself was inspired by concourse D at Harry Reid airport in Las Vegas).

Hi! My name is Dylan, and I've been playing since the game came out in 15' ....

Mayor of Silverton, I really wanted a heavily american inspired city, included with very wide roads. The cities population is roughly 75k, and stalling because of the traffic jams, which I'm tempted to leave as it wouldnt be a proper american city without drowning in a sea of taillights

The first screenshot is an overhead screenshot of downtown and the surrounding residential areas, highlighting the road network. The rest are some aesthetic shots of the city.

Wishing you all well!

This is Kardon City, currently 194 years old. I started this city close to a year ago, and I have been growing it ever since.
I started without any mods, but slowly began to add them. Which in turn resulted in me putting even more hours into fine tuning everything.
Everything is functional, no money cheat ever. My traffic is at 90% with a robust + free transit system, and a population of 140,000.

Love having this community, and others like it. I get so much inspiration from being able to see everyones builds.
Looking forward to seeing more!
Thank you all.

Hello, this is my submission.
Paradox forum username: Milkyle

The three screenshots of my city:
1. The top view of my city. The buildings on the north side and the south side are in European style. The buildings in the centre are in modern style and consisted of skyscrapers.
20220320190848_1.jpg

2. The main skyline in my city, which is a combination of the skyscrapers in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei etc...
20220320185408_1.jpg

3. The transportation hub of my city, is located on the central island of my city. Some aircraft models were placed in this hub because I built my first airport for this city exactly in the same location. Then I decided to leave some aircraft models for the citizens to remember this history.

20220320185246_1.jpg

As mentioned above, I have built a new airport in another location, used the new Airport DLC. Since only three screenshots are allowed so they cannot be shown.

And also I would like to share my thoughts on this city and this game.
This city means a lot to me as I have been building it for a year. In the first three months, I was completing my Final Year Project in my undergraduate. I was desperate and frustrated in doing the FYP but this city, this game, was the only thing that could bring me joy in that period. Finally, I overcame it and then I have spent a lot of time detailing and expanding my city, and even upgrade my display card and RAM for playing this game! Really love this game and I hope there will be Cities Skylines 2 or more DLCs will be designed and released! Thank you for reading!

Hello Everyone I am Abhinav Shah, you can call me The Virtual Gamer and I am really excited to share you my city of Albion which I created without and mods or assets on PlayStation 4.

Name-Abhinav Shah/The Virtual Gamer
Platform- PlayStation 4 (Console)
Country- India

Screenshot 1:
Cities_ Skylines_20220313163333.jpg

This is the overall city of Albion, a population of 116,457 this was the most detailed & longest time I was building a city (1 year, 3 months).
The map I took to build is The Diamond Coast map which came with the Base Game. The main attraction is the Albion Port & The National Park.

Screenshot 2:
Cities_ Skylines_20220129192232.jpg

The Skyline of Albion. I have spaced the unique buildings in such a way that all of those buildings can been seen. Plus in the middle I have the used European Highe Density Building so that the Downtown doesn't look the same and there is a variation of heights and buildings.

Screenshot 3:
Cities_ Skylines_20220116210335.jpg

This is the Pine Hills Station, and my favorite build in the city and till now. The reason being that I had to rebuild this area thrice because the area demanded for it. First it had the 2 platforms station from the base game, then because of heavy train traffic & high demands for more train lines, I re-built it and gave them the 4 platform station from the Train Station CCP. With the Downtown building and there being more influx of people and tourist, I had to rebuilt it again and give them a 12 platforms station from the Mass Transit DLC. This handles the most amount of passengers in the city (2,500 weekly, without intercity trains!!). This is one of the reasons I love this game, we have to rebuild places again and again as the city demands, which happens in real life also.

Thank You!!!

This is my city San Pacifico, the idea came out of trying to recreate an early 20th century Californian city that had enacted a Burnham style plan. I've tried to stick with mostly Victorian, Bueax-Arts and Craftsman style architecture. In this shot you can see the entire downtown area with the main train station in the foreground. This is a highly modded and fairly detailed build, Ive plopped all the assets myself to make sure everything looks just the way I want it to.
Cities_ Skylines 3_20_2022 10_43_21 AM.png

I started building with this area featuring a large ornate avenue connecting city hall with a district modeled after the Chicago Columbian exposition in 1893 and the San Francisco Panama Pacific International Exposition of 1915
Cities_ Skylines 3_20_2022 10_47_05 AM (2).png

Been trying to build out the whole region and have started creating small outlying towns like this one thats connected by a dirt road and rail to the main city which can be seen in the background.

Some of yall are so good at this, I am not. This is my current city. Frogville, USA home of about 32,000 cims. Oil and Ore fund the city and Frogville University keep the people educated. Hope yall enjoy and good luck.

Some stats:
Population: 1,031,000
Traffic: 74%
Transit ridership: 3189 citizens, 879 tourists
Mods: 54
DLC and Creator packs: everything
Assets: many....so many...

Story: This is one of my older cities that I recently rehabbed with new mods and assets. It was not quite a complete tear down but damn near close. I made the transit more efficient, fixed some past mistakes, and improved the overall quality of life. You can distantly see my airport which I jammed into the old International airport footprint. The city used to have monorail but I pulled it out in favor of trains and metro. Traffic started at 40% and I've painstakingly built it up without completely destroying everything. Minimal highways. There are two of every industry area and two of every factory as well as some asset factories. My export game is tremendous. I have 17 parks in total. And yes, the city is complete functional. I've used the most up-to-date transit stations throughout the map. I've pictured my tourism island, the central business district and the Jackson City Mall.

Hello
Here are my 3 screenshots.
My city is Lakevalley with a population of over 90,000. It has several regions - industrial mining, farming and woodland together with a thriving tourist area. The city has also retained its old town and limited building within the old city walls. Hope you enjoy.

Hello! Proud to present you Gothikel-City. The city I've been working on for over 1100 hours (and this is just the beginning) is a combination of different architectural styles. Eclectic as it is! The ultimate goal is to create a city that built and decorated manually.
