My favorite was the complaint about the placement of a minor island off the coastal border of Finland and Sweden...

Now now, Åland is actually pretty important.

i dont really thinks its abig deal, it represents the region, right?
also, looking at the screenshots: that is one big-ass bolivia!

its a tiny bolivia
the one in simons head covered a whole continent

and was this whole thread just a way of trying to say that you live in liverpool?
otherwise i cant for the life of me find the reason for it, let alone the rhyme.
should port icons no be in the middle of provinces? so as to make them easier to click on
and if you know where liverpool is, [and i mean who doesnt? its right across the mersey from the wirral which is awesome.] then in your head you can recognise the spot and so, the port icon, really is no issue no?

and compared to places that arent really important like britain, liverpool is perfectly placed, atleast its on the right island, and the starting infrastructure and wont be entirely random.
so is no issue no?
thank god you live in part of the world which is on everyones atlases and gets paid special attention by game makers

IMHO it ain't a great ahistorical mistake. This province (Liverpool, as it's seen on the 15th screenshot) covers the large strip of coast, including city's position in reality (Mersey etc.) The only problem is the position of port.

Moreover, HOI3 is OVERFULL with such glaring mistakes in provinces. So, V2 looks like a real map here.

The port isn't in wrong position any more than the province name. The port icon is there to tell that province has port, not to tell where it is.
