Hey

I just conquered Eygpt using a Great Holy War that my Moabadan-Moadbad declared and I gave the leader of the Immortals Holy Order Egypt but it seems that even though he is still the leader of the Holy Order it doesn't seem that the Immortals heir isn't in line for the throne of Egypt as well.

So I guess giving him the king title makes him a normal vassal but still the leader of the Holy Order who now has his own heir a daughter for the kingdom of Egypt.

Can I only give duke level titles to holy order's where they keep their own set of inheritance laws?

Yea, Holy Orders seem only able to handle 2 Ducal titles, add a third and they turn into a normal kingdom.

This is based on History in part, The Teutonic Order, owned Prussia, Pomeralia and Pomerania, after awhile they turned in Prussia, which then turned into the German Empire and later still into Germany.

Hey

Ah ok thanks. Once my son brother who is the heir on the Immortals becomes the leader I will give him a ducke title in Arabia. It's annoying that I can't give my high priest more duke or king titles as I wanted to give him the kingdom of Syria and the duchy of Syria so I have been sitting with to many held duchies for two generations now and I dont want to give it to someone else as I want to keep him my vassal not someone elses.

Thanks.

There is a way to kind of pre-empt this, you keep the kingdom level title for yourself, that said they will eventually sort out a custom kingdom, but it'll take longer then the De-Jure title would.

the only other option there is, is to look in on the modding forum and try to sort out how to "lock" Holy Order ai decisions from creating kingdoms.

I actually remember reading in defines that orders are locked from forming kingdoms.

Hey

I wouldn't mind them creating kingdoms as I wanted to give them Eygpt in the first place. It's just that when I gave him the kingdom title he became a normal feudal lord who was king with his own seperate heir and still the leader of the Immortals with its own heir as well.

Well I plan on giving them the de jure land of Arabia once I conquer it. In the last 40 years I have gained over 60% threat from holy warring two province duchies so now I need to wait for another 40 years probably for threat to go down.

This is a lot of sitting on my backside doing nothin..

Well that sucks.

You are absolutelly wrong. The Kingdom of Prussia which formed the Empire of Germany had nothing to do with the Teutonic Order. It was the March of Brandenburg which formed the Kingdom of Prussia and than the German Empire. They did inherite the Duchy of Prussia which at this date had nothing to do with the Teutonic Order anymore.
