giving objectives to your subjects and allies

Hello,

i've just bought AOW and started my game as england, currently 1640 and liking it a lot.
However, reading the wiki, one feature caught my attention:

Fighting with Armies: You can now sortie from sieges, transfer occupation to allies and give objectives to your subjects and allies

Sortie from sieges and transfer occupation worked, but i cant find any way to give objectives to allies (not subjects, because for them there is the triple button for the general strategy). Is there any hidden button or option?

If I'm not mistaken, when you're at war with a nation, you can click on a province they own and there should be a button that says something like "No strategy/focus". You can click on that and select a nation from the list.

Note that allies do not really listen to that, though, so it's mostly a novelty.
