I personally dislike how invested I get in my wars, micro-managing everything down to the last detail and setting up army movements in pincer-attacks with exact day accuracy to catch my enemies in crushing battles, and getting frustrated when I fail to do so. So, what if we could instead give the control of our armies to our faithful vassals and have the AI do the warring for us? Why should I bother myself with those details as a King?

I think it could add an interesting new way to play the game where warfare is faster and less in favor of the player. Even if you enjoy micro-managing, this feature could be useful for those wars where you overpower the enemy 3-4 fold and it doesn't really matter if you let the AI handle things for you.

I would kill for the Imperator rome unit automation. Throw a leader on it and let them pick it by their personality too.

I think it's underated how great that feature was and how well it would suite all arrive=attack pdox games.

I am not arguing that it should be the default though. But being able to automate stacks, especially when I have to fight on many fronts and can't micro every siege is a game changer for me!
