As it stands now, Indians are only tech group that does not have any colonization privileges. While kinda logical (Indians are probably in the tail of possible colonizers queue), this is still lame - when someone (like myself
) tries to do funky colonization stuff in India it is really hurting to not have at least that burgher privilege. So my suggestion:
Jain privilege - Jain Autonomy Abroad Guarantees
Requires at least 1 colonist
0 land
10 influence
10 loyalty
-10 absolutism
Modifiers: Incompatible with 'Native Repression Policy', +10 Global Settler Increase, -50% Native Uprising Chance, settled provinces gain 'Jain Autonomy Guaranteed' modifier for 20 years (minimum autonomy +20%, -100% Missionary Strength, -10 % Development Cost)
I think this will feed into overall Jain thingy - peaceful minority, seeking for a land free of oppression and strife. This will have 0 effect on AI and so will not change existing gameplay, but will allow some amusement for quirky players.
Also, you can potentially add event tied to this privilege, where colonized province religion changes to Jain (it's already coded in game for CKII converter) - once again, will only have impact when player intentionally messes with colonization as Indian nation, but maybe that's too much to ask
