I send all my problems to the church because I hate God. And myself. You can also send your sons into priesthood!
I can think of three ways off the top of my head: grant them a bishopric (a county with a temple as a primary holding), make them take the vows (if Sons of Abraham DLC is on), appoint as an heir to an existing bishop (if free investiture). Not sure what other conditions there are.How do i send my kids to church?

So long as you keep your horniness in check or can find extra titles to give your extra sons, that extra demesne bonus is extra nice until you start breeding super stewards or get your centralization up.But still, go primogeniture or elective. Gavelkind isn't really worth it.
i guess i should've been more specific...i don't really want my second son dead because both kids have great stats and it would be a shame to waste my second sons abilities as a commander or even a vassal...should i just grant both of them the pieces of land i want them to have before i die and just keep one county and kingdom title till i die?Appoint them generals, and try to have them killed. Or imprison them and execute them
