Coats of arms


During my previous update, I stated I was willing to modify the CoA of the provinces that are muslim at start of scenario, to change from the current two-colored shields.

This update consist in all the shields of Mauretania. As in my games, when mauretanian crusades are successful, most of the time the conquerors are iberian, I put in the CoA details rather specific to Castilla, Portugal, Leon,... All advices and opinions are welcome.

Wow, this looks very nice. I really like the events you made, and the one you are thinking about adding (An Islamic kingdom poping up) is a great idea! I'm gonna try to install this now, I'm not very good at installing, but here goes nothing! :)

EDIT: Background for the seiges looks AWSOME btw. :)

EDIT2: A warning to everyone in the future, dont try to install a mod when your tired, it makes it very confusing. :p

Update of Gigau's Events



> Thanks to Jordakelf : I increased the MTTH of the disaster events. I also made sure that the muslim country pop up happens only if the province culture has remained arab, turkish or persian (i don't use any culture mod.... so i have no idea what tag is used for the berber/moorish).

- Longer building time in case of revolt and looting.
- Lower penalty for building time for diseases other that plague.
- Heretic province gives a piety hit each month, plus a decrease of clergy loyalty in the province.
- Looting induces a loyalty hit for peasants and burghers.
- Prosperity has a slight effect on building time (from x1.2 for struggling to x0.8 for prosperous).

- One can only build a grand palace in the capital, but with higher one time prestige bonus and lower demesne penalty.
- War academy also only in capital, but with higher supported troops and higher one time prestige bonus.
- No more terrain restriction for theive buildings (if some one could tell me here why provinces with mountains, desert,... would never have theive guilds and else ....)

Fantasy CoA for the kingdom of North Africa. As in my game, it's often taken by french (even if helped by the Empire of England), I used elemnts from french heraldry.
As usual, for a crusader king title, i used the "Cross of Jerusale" or whatever it's called.

This sery is about the kingdom of Tunisia. As for the other crusader kingdoms, the fantasy CoA I use have elements from the heraldry of the country that conquers the most often. For Tunisia, like in reality, it's the kingdom of Naples. I've read on some web sites that the de Hauteville held some cities of the tunisian coast for some time.

In order to acheive the last two sets (Orthodox and Regency events), i have moded some traits.

Hence, I have edited several original in-game files containing those three traits.
I removed the trigger conditions and the effects.
When dealing to modifiers and in the scenario files, i've merged

The way i caluclated the modifying factor is

If among those mod you use is the BOPACK, my mod includes Ambrox62's files corrected to remove the lines
concerning the three traits i've modded.





I've tried to check all the events, as of now they don't seem to have caused any CTD and seem to work as
i planned. Any feedback, comment or ideas are more than welcome in this thread.

Update for Gigau's Events



CatKnight has confirmed a problem i had in a game with my "\DB\Events\Muslim_Rebellion.txt" file. Event 23744 would create a "Sheikdom of Blank", slowing the game and with lots of crazy thing (like all the titles of the map becoming vassal to the new sheik).

Found the problem : I had typed MDAA instead of MDAM. Either you can download again my mod, or you can just go into the file and replace the tags in the event 23744.

Sorry for the problems caused :eek:o

Updates for Gigau's CoA



Here are a new set of CoA. Several of them are for the same tag (like GERM/HREE, RUSS,...). When i decide to reload the game every now and then, i like to update the CoA that can change. For example, for Russia, i have several depending on who creates the tag. Same for the Roman Empire, depending on who holds the title.
