VERY strange bug:

somtimes units fall to 0 strengh are transformed into ghost dvisions.

This means they move incredibly fast, can conquer unoccupied enemy terrain, cannot be dissolved and are anihilated when they meet enemy troops. I had this in Afrika, when this happened to a british infantry division. The symbol changed to some sort of tank, there was a hole in my lines. The division went through and took back half of afrika in 5 days. Then it met some italian forces in suez and disappeared.

Anothertime 3 infantry divisions of mine were attacked in kuwait by superior usa forces. I retreated, they fell to 0 strength but the unit still existed. I found a hole in russian lines and conquered 3/4 of russia in 10 days.

The ghost units disappear when game is saved / loaded, so i cant prove. But i swear they exist. Computer player also very often has ghost fleets with 0 ships.

I know the bug
Your not alone having that problem. They can take on units with 0 ORG so i use the to get they russians when ive driven them beyond the god roads of russia so they lose org. Then i just kill of a militia div and send to get the country ;) But it's boring so i wish they could get rid of the bug.

Althoough they can be annoying, all it takes is 1 airstrike to destroy them.

Well I had a funny accident with a ghost division recently(vanilla 1.06c). I was attacking a region in South Africa (i do not remember the name). I attacked directly from two regions and then at the same time used paratroops to take an undefended region south of it to encyrcle the target region thus creating a pocket. I won the battle but instead of being eliminated the fleeing south african army started to march towards the region my paras had taken. Somewhere along the march the SAA died and became a ghost division. In the region they were currently marching towards I had stationed 1 para division, 1 air transport, 3 tac bombers and 2 fighters. When the ghost division arrived they, without a fight, took control of the region and thus eliminated all of my airplanes. My paras then attacked and it was as if they had just arrived but not the ghost division. Very, very strange. And whats more the para division lost the fight even though they had full org and strength - the ghost division had 0 org and 0 strength. Luckely I had recently saved the game and after loading I attacked the ghost division on the march with my tac bombers and they dissapeared.

Happened to me once as well, my defending divisions became attackin divisions and then somehow they were not supplied... they were listed as encircled for some reason... i reloaded and the bug didnt appear again, weird...
