Ghost Army

So, at one point I was fighting Aragon. I wanted to create a new unit from my army but when I pressed the button, instead of showing the menu for creating new unit, it created an invisible (can't see the army on the map) 0 man army. I couldn't select it or move it. I knew that to get rid of it I needed to merge it with another army. I forgot about that and finished the war with aragon. Then I realized that I have an exiled ghost army in aragon, I couldn't get access because we were enemies but it didn't matter. After a while Aragon was integrated by castile. Then I was needed to take care of rebels in one province i took from fighting a war with Portugal so I got military access from Spain. I wanted to cancel military access but I couldn't cause I had that ghost exiled army there. I also couldn't merge that ghost army with my main one for some reason, therefore I can't cancel military access and can't get my diplomatic slot back. I am playing with Ironman turned on and I have no clue what to do so I wouldn't lose any diplo points for too many relations.
