GFX modding

Could anyone here tell me how to mod graphics (leader pics,minister pics,event pics,propaganda,skins,loading screens,the alliance gfx that shows the vps etc.),or post a link to some tutorial here.
I know there is a page in the HoI2 Wiki,however,it wasn't really helpful.

What Graphics do you want to mod ? Because each graphics has different tutorial.

The ones you mention are mainly in the \gfx\interface folder. They are bitmap format and it's important for replacement graphics to have the same type and size.

A new question:where can I find templates for shields and flags?And are the HoI2 pics the same dimensions as the HoI1 pics?
