Playing as the Mongols with Agnatic Nomadic Succession I just had a genius and strong grandson born.

Woohoo!

Except he is the son of my eldest daughter and I have three sons.

The eldest son has no sons of his own, at least yet. The middle son does have a son of his own.

Is there any way to get the genius/strong kid here to inherit?

Also, my current ruler has 11 kids - which makes sense as I've had 2 wives and maybe...10 concubines at various points...but his last kid was born 12 years ago. I cycle the concubines so they are always young so it isn't a fertility issue on their side. My ruler has no negative traits that affect fertility. So...RNG antics here?

Yes, she is in a matrilineal marriage.

To quote the Wiki, with nomadic succession "the male relative (uncle, brother, son or nephew) (female relatives cannot inherit) of the same culture with the most prestige inherits, with sons having priority." So your grandson can't inherit from you, but you could arrange for him to inherit from your eldest son if your eldest son doesn't have sons of his own and doesn't rule for very long.
