Getting rid of legacy of attaturk?

Playing as the ottomans reborn, I noticed as I entered 1945 that I can't get rid of the sectarian woes and legacy of attaturk national spirits, which are costing me a combined 15 % stability. I looked around on the forum and bug reports and didn't see anyone else noting this happening so I'm not sure if I missed something, or if this is intentional, or if it's a bug. Not gamenreaking or anything, but it is a little annoying.

Im noticing that alot of the times, im not getting the event for Ataturks illness when im going Ottoman. Im also noticing that with how fast with you getting to the current election, if going ottomans, you will no matter what get that -5% negative modifier from the focus you do. It seems it wants you to slow down to get that positive modifier, which is silly.
