Getting new tolerance sliders

At what point do you get religious sliders for religions other than the ones you start out knowing?

Is it like the whiteman penalty, where you need to undergo a certain number of diplomatic actions? Or do you have to actually own a province of the unknown religion before you get a slider for it?

They're set depending on your religion and can't be changed. With the exception that Reformed and Protestant are added as they appear according to your religion, as you see them at the start is the way they stay.

The default value's neutral, then? So they'll always have a +1 RR due to religion?
