I'm currently playing as the Golden Horde and I'm getting destroyed by Bohemia. In the early game I expanded a fair bit but now my armies have become hopelessly obsolete and I don't stand a chance. I'm trying to Westernize (reached the Muslim tech group so far) and I managed to reform my government but I still have quite a long way to go.
Bohemia took about 10 provinces from me before I reformed and I was hoping they would make peace with me once I stopped being nomadic. They initially accepted a peace treaty and I started to bribe them at every possible opportunity to reduce chances of a future war. I managed to raise relations from -200 to 0 but as soon as the truce expired they hit me with a Holy War. They're likely to cut me off from the Black Sea soon and they're getting alarmingly close to my capital and my CoT.
Does anybody have any idea how I can get them to leave me alone for a bit? I just need a few decades of breathing space to finish Westernizing. Is there any point in raising relations with them or are they still likely to attack due to the religious differences? I don't hold any provinces with Bohemian cores.
