Why cant we have the Steam code already? People who buy itf rom steam have the same advantages, 10% discount and they have their game already on their library without worrying about it and people who try to support Paradox directly gain nothign whatsoever... not even a beta invite... I am more dissapointed with paradox everyday..

I guess OP is talking about the Steam key, not the forum reg. code? I pre-ordered from GG and there is still no Steam key available on my GG page. I won't have time to play before the weekend anyhow, so I can live with getting the Steam key on release day, but I can certainly understand the impatience :laugh:

Its not the responsibility of the consumer to search out the intended meaning of an e-mail with regards to a transaction. If the e-mail is ambiguous then its the fault of paradox and not the customer for failing to use a search function.

And their responsibility has been fulfilled through the sticky threads available on their forums, as well as a metric tonne of threads on the subject. Or are you going to argue that the customer is not at fault if they don't try to actively seek support in case of an issue, and just expect it to be fixed for them passively?

Because mistakes do happen - The forums are where Paradox does their support from, not private email ticket systems (at least last I checked)

The information in those emails is obviously wrong and has to be changed.

Only thing we'll agree on here.

Also, if you can't believe a mail from a paradox, why would you believe stickies?

P'dox should've done something more than just making a sticky on the Forums. Most customers dont even know there is a Forum, why should they look it up here? The false Information is paradox fault, not the customers one, so it's paradox Job to inform them the way it should be - which is via email.

Never heard about Steam not having enough keys for those who have pre-ordered a game. I know they have had to disable pre-orders and sales because they run out of keys though.

I heard that extra supplies of EUIV keys are being shipped to Stockholm in advance of the release date, so I don't expect any problems this time around.

Paradox IS at fault for not correcting the pre-order emails by now (and I'll agree with you on that one - it should have been fixed by now with at least some five daily threads on the subject)

Via email? Purely opinion - They have chosen to conduct their support in a manner, which is almost industry standard these days.

Why are people getting so complainy about this? If there was some change Paradox could make to how they work that would make their jobs 1000x easier, I'm sure they would do it.

I certainly thought it would have been nice if the e-mail I received was more clear, but it's not like they can go back in time and fix it.
