Get A Free EU4 Unit Pack With Your PDX Account!

My Paradox Account is linked to my Steam account and I've verified my email address but I'm not seeing the Steam key under my Paradox Account nor is the DLC listed with EU4 in my Steam Library :-(

Is it just a matter of waiting? I only linked my Paradox account to Steam this morning, but my email address has been verified for ages

Well, finally i get the key for the Major Evangelic Unit Pack. But it doesn't show in the launcher (it does in the Steam game DLCs).

I got the unit pack and it's called the evangelical majors pack in steam but the files are all referencing the catholic majors pack. (Spain Austria Poland)
Also, it doesn't show up in the list of dlc in the launcher.

If you read through this thread, PDX make clear that it will take several days to assign all the keys. It's just a matter of waiting.

(In any case, there's a different problem that means the game doesn't load this DLC properly. Have patience!)

Ok, so after some digging (Mostly by SolSys, thanks for that!) seems like the reason it's hard to find the DLC in game is that we gave you the Catholics Majors Unit Pack, but the app was incorrectly labeled "Evangelical Majors Unit Pack". Those of you who've gotten a key and redeemed it, can you see the Catholics Majors in the game launcher (full steam name "Europa Universalis IV: Catholic Majors Unit Pack")

Hi! There is no Catholic or Evangelical DLC in the laucher. Steam says I have downloaded the Evangelical pack, but all the files are for the Catholic pack. No new unit models appear in game as they don't appear in the launcher.

I'll say I'm having the same issues as others seem to be having, I'm technically finishing up a last major project for university so I won't be playing anyways. However I'd like to be helpful if I can, would sending screenshots be useful? If so what kind of stuff, it seems like there are already screenshots of the pages where its an issue.

Also would it effect anything if I'm using a laptop? (Which is the case) I doubt its that simple, but I thought I'd stick it out there.

As you may have noticed, there’s some issues with the free DLC not showing up in the game launcher. This might be due to a snafu (yes, that is the technical term) in our steam backend. We’re working on solving this issue but we can’t do so with skeleton crew we have on hand tonight. You WILL receive a free Unit Pack in the near future for merging your accounts, so no work done by you has been in vain. Keys will keep rolling out, and we’ll keep updating the main post when we got new info!

Thank you for reporting and for your patience! In the near future a tasty Free Unit Pack will be yours (which one is still a teensy bit unclear, but we’ll get it sorted)! We'll also include answers to the questions asked here (which tier are the units, what is actually in the patch, and we'll publish renders if we have them,. Nothing will happen tonight tough!)

I have seen tier 1 units for Poland and Castile on the streams of Arumba and others, so I assume therefore that this will "fill out" the remaining unit tiers for these factions. Since Poland, Castile/Spain and Austria have been reported to be in the "Catholic Majors Pack" then I assume Poland, Castile and Austria will receive tier 1, 3 & 4 infantry.

I'm guessing Evangelical Majors will be France and Sweden for sure, with a maybe for Brandenburg. France would therefore receive tier 3 & 4 infantry while Sweden (& maybe Brandenburg) would receive tier 1, 3 & 4. This is speculation, but I'm pretty confident it's on point

(Bohemia under Evangelical Majors would be awesome as well, however I will be more than happy with the above list of powerhouses)

What is the evangelical majors unit pack anyway?

According to the content of the zip file, it's tier 1, 3 & 4 units for Austria, Poland and Spain.
So I guess the eventual unit pack will contain tier 1, 3 & 4 units for three members of the Evangelical Union.
