They start there. Again, this is just two months into the game, and Russia can't strat. redeploy at the start. So it takes longer for them to reach the frontline. Don't worry, I've played a lot ahead and I will find huge numbers of Russians.

Interesting to see Austria focusing so much on the Bear so early. IRL, they didn't even declare war on Russia until mid-August...

The game looks good though...I am really liking the automate trading and espionage features...

This is great to hear. It should increase the replayability and make games a little bit more unpredictable.

While I am certainly not going to argue against buying a new computer, the game will require nothing better than HOI2, HOI2DD, or HOI2DD:Armageddon required. So if you got good results with Armageddon on your current computer, you will get better results with DH on the same computer.

EDIT: I hate the forum changing HOI2DD (with a colon) into HOI2D

I have to admit that this AAR is really making me consider purchasing DH, I've always been more of a fan of CK and Vicky, but the subject mater and the look of the map really has caught me up.
