Playing as Germany (which i have done many times) I have noticed several things that would make Germany better.
Firstly, Adding at least 2, and possibly as much as 4 more naval Dockyards, this is actually not just a problem with Germany but several countries that have navies at the beginning of the game, and can not keep up with the Number of ships they historically could field and had fielded before World War II

Several Ships that were actually finished by the time the game starts aren't finished, and some aren't even in que, adding additional dockyards would help with this if you didn't want to add the ships.

In the Tree/Decisions Alsace-Lorraine should be integrate-able as cores by ANY government of Germany, Fascist, Democrat, Communist, or Monarchist.

Fourthly the Monarchists shouldn't just change the names of ships to something strange and random. I can't imagine the Kaiser being such a jerk as to rename Destroyers named after sailors who died in World War I to something else, nor changing the name of the Deutchland to something else, why would he rename the ship called Germany to something else (not to mention the fact there was a World War I ship called Deutschland. I will add, Names like Bismark, Hindenburg, or Ludendorf he'd have quams about, (since he didn't like those particular people)

The Monarchists should be able to get claims on their old colonies, through the tree. (if they don't already, i can't remember, although i don't think they do) These being Tanganyika, Cameroon, Rwanda and Burundi, Nambia, and Togo in Africa. The Bismarck Archipelago, and Solomon Islands off of Australia, Nauru off of Britain. Palau, the Caroline, and the Marshall Islands off of Japan, Samoa off of New Zealand in the Pacific. Not to mention the places they only partially owned, like Northern Papua, Northern Gabon, Eastern Nigeria, Western Ghana and Northern Middle Congo. This being said, even the Fascists had nostalgia for these lost territories, as shown by the fact they named ocean liners after their lost Colonies.

German's Anschluss of Austria being conditional to what happens in Austria. Adding a condition that Austria has Such and Such Fascists agitation Modifier for this to be clicked... (or Austria has to be fascist) would allow the player to play Austria. I don't like that you can just Anschluss a country though button pushing just because you're Germany. I do beleave it was changed so that Austria can say no... (not sure)

Also think that the Monarchist Path/Democratic Path should, like Hungary ask for a vote from Austria to join with Germany, but make it only clickable in opposition to reforming Austria-Hungary.

On the Rebel against the Fuhrer Path, some Military leaders who were stanch supporters of the Fascist regime or politically connected to it, shouldn't actually be available for hire by the Rebellion, since they wouldn't even be trusted... Heck i doubt Alfred Jodl would be trusted (who i know joins the Allied fight) It might be could if the Rebel against Fuhrer path was a bit more dynamic like other rebellions where you complete the focus and there are stirings of rebellion that culmate in leaders joining the Rebel Cause, or like Jodl for instance, joining the cause after the rebellion starts.

The ability perhaps to reinstate the Cores of Prussia as the Monarchists.
Bavaria, Saxony, and Saarland (France's little puppet) having a Core on Germany each.

First of all you get claims on your colonies as monarchist Germany, if you go full on Kaiser. (2 35 day focuses for some dockyards so why increasing them). Also the thing with Austria is, that you just get them, because historicially speaking, they had no choice.

They were in such a bad spot after WW1 that their entire economy was dependent on Germany (even today they import over 40% and export about 30% then it was even highter). They lost most of their industry and population and had to give up most of their land, whilst also facing a hostile world economy(I mean the market crash).

You also had a strong sentiment of being wronged. The Nazis, took those opportunities and threatend them into submission. (Although large parts of the population where quite happy with that). Yes they can say no but it is more or less Rng which always sucks. Most commonly when they have a hungarian guarantee. (Those 2 last a week).

Also the real SS-Generals are not available after oppose Hitler. The other Whermacht one, certainly are not very trustworthy for Weimar, but I would say that most where Happy with the Kaiser.

I think the main defect of the German tree is that it is ridiculous that only the military terrestrial section of the tree only has 3 approaches when it should be at least double with some disjunctive

I also believe that the alternative democratic path should be a disjunctive between a parliamentary monarchy or reinstating the republic

Good ideas!

In addition to that:

I. Add an republican alternative to the Monarchy compromise focus to bring back the Weimar Republic and elect a president.

II. Add a possibility to resist Hitler later after Rhineland (assassinate him during the war). For balance, this could make the civil war harder to win.

I love when people who play Germany play the big navy game. So entertaining to see Germany aircraft carriers, German super heavy battleships.

Agree with the Navy problem, but with the general part, not Germany itself. Other nations can't keep it up, but Germany have enough power to do it.

You can build naval dockyards, and there is several focuses gives you for free. You just have to be quick as possible in Navy department.

In my opinion getting or loosing cores should be the exception (E. g. when states merge) and not the rule. The game excludes all the horrible parts of history which are actually connected with “changing cores” from the game and is totally right in doing so. So the question what cores a nation have should not depend on its ideology but the “cores” should be more or less fixed from the start. (Historical remark: Even the democratic Weimar Republic explicitly refused to finaly surrender the territories in the east which were lost in Versailles (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Locarno_Treaties) so they still regarded them as German "cores".

Yes, this would actually cause a lot of “contested cores” in Europe, but what’s the problem?

It doesn't matter if Germany regards them as cores, but if those populations regard themselves as German cores.

Something that vanilla never does is adding a process of integration of regions close to being cores, like a decision that adds some debuffs for a time and them disappears granting cores. Compliance can be included too. That's how Russia in KR can core Ukraine, Belarus and the Baltics, it's not just pushing a button, it's a very long process that limits Russia short-term in exchange for cores mid-term.
