It's July 1937, Germany (and Portugal) has taken virtually all of Eastern America and with Roosevelt not in power (sorry, I can't remember the other presidents' name) Germany demands the US to be its puppet, but whenever it agrees my game crashes! Anybody know why is this? I don't wanna annex America, too many partisans!

Maybe its because of the USA's many, many provinces. Try to do it on a low game speed.

Ok thanks, I'll try it next time. I accidently saved over it so I'll have to do it all over again.

Also it is much better to first annex them and then release them as a puppet, as otherwise they will keep all their units which then suddenly turn Axis troopers... Not very realistic, me thinks.

But do you get dissent from liberation as you did in HOI2?

Yes, but dissent is not that bad as it used to be, now that you can simply allocate more money on CG while still producing all the good stuff with your precious IC.

It's like funneling money to your Nazi Americans so they can erect an axis bulwark from the debris of the old democratic USA... ;)

Oh yeah, but the main problem with annexing USA as Germany is navy! If Japan joined the war, would it declare war on the UK and Netherlands as it did in HOI2?
