As I had stated a long long time ago in another thread, there is the bug which prevents the unification of germany in the year 1871. It has been explained to me that this is the result of the switching of tags of Austria from HAD to KUR (or whatnot). The only times I had ever managed to succesfully unify germany were when hungary existed alongside austria (thus making the problem event impossible). Can anyone provide a fix for this?
I would suggest removing the relations affect against Austria-hungary. True, this would be un-historical but I think that prussia becoming germany is more important than the fact that the austrians became chief adversaries afterwards. I have tried it on my own before, but it only ended up crashing my game.
