I enjoy playing CK2. I have over 150 hours played. However, I dislike playing anywhere in Central Europe, as the portraits look so bad. A little update like we saw for the Mediterranean Portraits would be great.

But how do you draw a mediaeval German nobleman in a way that makes him look distinctly different from a mediaeval French nobleman? I can't see the difference. I can with some pain identify a Frenchman or Frenchwoman from certain regions on the basis of some specific details in their looks, generally Celtic in origin, but how the heck am I to figure out any sort of visual difference between East and West Franks, which is what French and German is, effectively, if you remove the Celtic influence from the equation?
Put garlic chains around the Frenchmen's necks and bratwursts around the Germans . . .
